In keeping with the tradition, i am extending a bozo button (choose the version that fits you best) to the following for their gifted and creative display in the "Okay, then, Jerry v. Bobby" thread. Lets have a round of applause folks!!

ghostofpig (for instigating the fun!)
SomeDarkHollow (for really getting the ball rolling!)
robthewordsmith (for being the foil for SDH's shennanigans!)
ducats (for bringing catwoman into the picture!)
William Tell (for doing what he does best! Wait, what is that again?)
direwolf0701 (for hopping on late in the game ... and for being the wolf!)

Cultural relevance:

"Bozo Button": The etymology comes from the popular children's show hosted by none other than Bozo the Clown. Children from the audience would play games and the prize was usually a board game. However, the consolation prize was a large button depicting Bozo the Clown. Therefore, when someone brags or shows off one should ask him or her "would you like a cookie or a Bozo Button"?

foil (noun): "One that by contrast underscores or enhances the distinctive characteristics of another"

i may have applied the term a bit liberally, but then if you think about it, perhaps not

cheers!

I would much prefer a Bolo button. I ain't no damn Bozo.

The gospel according to St. Dilbert, as translated by Robert Hunter:

"St. Dilbert was walking in the market one day when up staggered a Bozo to ask his opinion on whether the king, who had been caught with his hand in exchequer, ought to abdicate, be deposed, have his hand cut off, or be given a medal. With very little pondering, the Dilbert is said to have replied: "You Bozos slay me. You pick a king who best represents the sum of your individual lameness to rule you, and then complain because he has a big red nose." While considering this reply, the Bozo smelled smoke, and looking down realized that the Dilbert had, once again, placed a lighted match between his toes."

No, sir: I am a Bolo. The rest of you are all a bunch of Bozos.
